Typically, shingles that are five to ten years old start to show signs of aging, granular loss and could use rejuvenation with the Roof Rejuvenate product before they start to curl up. Shingles that are curled up at the edges, have significant granule loss or other damage may disqualify a roof for the rejuvenation process.

Roof Rejuvenate provides dealers and customers with a USDA Certified BioBased Product made with 96% natural food-grade oils. Overall, it’s safe to use around pets, plants, and people.

Shingle rejuvenation costs on average around 15% of the cost of replacement.

By rejuvenating your shingles you can ensure a minimum of 5 years past the expected life of the shingles.  (Example: a ten year old shingle may have 5-8 years left, by rejuvenating the shingle you can extend that time by an additional 5 years.) That being said, any reputable solar company won't install on a roof that is failing. Rejuvenation gives the homeowner and the solar company another option and a longer window without having to replace the shingles.

Our product comes with a 5-year warranty backed by the dealership applying it. Roof Rejuvenate guarantees improved flexibility and granule adhesion, helping shingles last an additional 5 to 10 years beyond their expected lifespan.  The good news is that this warranty is transferable to the next homeowner.

If your roof is a candidate for rejuvenation, we will provide a roof certification from an independent state-licensed roofing inspector that all insurance carriers here in Florida are required to accept. With this certification, your insurance carrier cannot deny you coverage based on roof age or make you replace your roof.  In short,  in Florida, an inspection report from a certified roofing inspector indicating 5+ years of life protects a homeowner from having to replace their roof in order to keep their coverage.

Yes, the color of the shingles will darken, similar to what it was like when new. Initially the change can be seen immediately after the initial process is completed, this "darkening" will dissipate over the course of a few days and become lighter as the oils makes it's way into the lower layers of the shingles. Within a couple of years, the shingles will start to lighten up as the surface oils begin to oxidize off and the Roof Rejuvenate can be applied again for more years of saturated, functional shingles. 

Does this help with algae growing on my roof?Yes, The treatment improves the condition of your shingles, making them less hospitable to algae growth by smothering and killing algae. It works to protect and extend the life of your roof, reducing the conditions that allow algaeto thrive. Algae will continue to rinnse off over time.

No — and that’s a common misconception.

Our rejuvenator is made from fermented corn sugars, not vegetable oil or cooking oil. In fact, corn is classified as a grain, not a vegetable. This formula is bio-based, but it’s not like soybean or vegetable oil products that can cause slippery runoff or harm to plants.

Unlike soy-based treatments that contain soy methyl esters (SMEs) — which have been flagged in some warranty disputes — our product is SME-free, plant-safe, and designed specifically for asphalt shingles. It works by penetrating the shingle, replenishing lost oils, and restoring flexibility and granule adhesion, extending the life of your roof.

Roof Rejuvenate is a professional-grade product that’s only available through our network of authorized dealers. It requires specific equipment and training to apply properly, ensuring even coverage and the right absorption to restore your shingles’ flexibility and extend their lifespan. Our trained pros also inspect your roof and make sure it’s in good condition before treatment.

First, you must have an asphalt shingle roof.  Roof Rejuvenate is not for tile or metal roofs.  If your asphalt shingles have excessive cracking, curling, or if the shingles have lost more than 40% of their granules, your roof  unfortunately can be treated.  In addition, if there is structual damage or there are missing shingles, we will not spray roof rejuvenate.  After you get those damaged shingles fixed, we'll be happy to spray the rest of the roof so that you can at least another 5 years before getting a reroof.  When we come over for your free consultation we'll assess your roof.  If we can't spray it, we know multiple roofers that we can refer you to.
