Roof Rejuvenate USA, in collaboration with global construction materials leader Sika, commissioned an independent third-party study through PRI Asphalt Technologies, a recognized authority in asphalt shingle testing. The study used 15-year-old asphalt shingles from a real residential roof and subjected them to a 1,500-hour accelerated weathering test, simulating five years of natural aging using industry-standard aging models. The goal was to compare untreated shingles with those treated using the Roof Rejuvenate product. PRI evaluated critical performance metrics—including flexibility, durability, and overall longevity—and the results showed significant performance improvements in the treated shingles over the simulated 5-year period.
